It's a pleasant irony that, just as the first installments of Rowling's oeuvre were better suited to page than screen, the final installments have reversed the relationship.. If Elgort's Gus is glibly charming and ultimately affecting, "The Fault in Our Stars" belongs to Woodley, a performer who always seems to be backing warily into her own movies.. Well, of course the book is better.. The Fault in Our Stars is a heart-breaker for sure, but it's also a sweet, romantic film full of sudden warmth...
